June 1 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

May 28 – Day Shift

323 Camp Jordan Pkwy-

Eric Johnson was taken into custody at the gun show after a background check conducted while he was attempting to purchase a firearm, revealed he had an outstanding warrant through Williamson County, Tennessee.

5406 Clemons Rd-

The complainant reported her catalytic converter was cut off her vehicle at this location sometime during the night.

100 I-75-

A 2016 Kia Optima caught fire at the welcome center. Fire responded and extinguished the flames. Vehicle was towed from the scene by Broome’s.  No injuries were reported.

May 28 – Night Shift

1500 Mack Smith Road/narcotics arrest:

During a traffic stop at this location, Kimberly Hamilton was placed under arrest after she was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and alprazolam. (22-007551)

323 Camp Jordan Parkway/Property:

Police responded to 323 Camp Jordan Parkway after Camp Jordan Arena staff advised they found a vile containing a white powdery substance in the parking lot. The vile was turned over to police and submitted into property for destruction. (22-007549)

May 29 – Day Shift

1410 N Mack Smith (Disorder Prevention)-

Police stood by at this location while guests at a room were asked to leave by staff.

5816 Ringgold Rd (Theft/Burglary)-

Staff at U-Haul advised someone broke into the business at this location, obtained keys and stole one of their trucks sometime during the night.

May 29 – Night Shift

1508 Karwill Lane Apt D/Warrant Service:

Wendsy Griffith/Lindsey was arrested on an aggravated assault warrant out of Hamilton County. Wensdy was transported to Silverdale without incident. (22-007597)

1410 Mack Smith Road/Arrest:

Van William Atkins was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm and resisting arrest. Jade Case was arrested for an East Ridge warrant. (22-007611)

Interstate 75 NB on Ramp/Traffic stop:

Jacob Nixon was taken into custody for multiple warrants out of Gordon County Georgia and general sessions during a traffic stop at this location

6642 Ringgold Road/Intoxicated Person:

Police responded to a call for unconscious party between the La Quinta Inn and Econo Lodge. Officers located Timothy Jordan slumped over behind the La Quinta pool area in the parking lot. Police removed the firearm located on Jordan prior to EMS arrival. Jordan denied transport by EMS transport and was cleared . Police subsequently placed the man into custody for public intoxication and possession of a firearm under the influence. (22-007607)

700 block Haven Hill/Suspicious Activity:

A man and his father called police to this location after an unknown female was attempting to extort the man for money. He told police he met an unknown female on Instagram and continued speaking through snapchat. Once he sent the unknown female nude pictures of himself she attempted to extort him for approximately $1,000. Report is on file for the incident. (22-007610)

4150 Monroe Street/Arrest:

Nathan Holder was arrested at this location following a disorder for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container, Implied Consent, and Retaliation for Past Acts. (22-007603)

1500 Springvale Road/Narcotics Arrest:

During a traffic stop, April Coats was arrested for possession of fentanyl for resale after she was found to be in possession of multiple counterfeit oxycodone pills. (22-007614)
