Police Briefs for July 25

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

July 22 – Day Shift

22-010356- 4307 Fountain Avenue- Warrant Service-

Police attempted to serve two East Ridge warrants on Josh Clark at this location but the occupants of the residence refused to open the door. Officers held the perimeter of the residence until SWAT arrived. Once on scene SWAT entered the residence and took Clark into custody. He was transported to Silverdale without incident.

22-010351- 312 McBrien Road- Suspicious People-

The caller advised three people in a gold car were sleeping on the lot. On scene the three were advised to move along per the caller’s request.

22-010357- 1410 Mack Smith Road – Stolen Vehicle Recovery-

The complainant called to advise Theodore Locklin was at her room and in possession of her stolen 2003 Lincoln. On scene Locklin saw police and attempted to flee on foot. He was apprehended after a foot pursuit. Once in custody he began to have a medical emergency.  EMTs responded and transported him to a local Hospital. Warrants are pending for evading and drug paraphernalia. He also has warrants from the auto theft.

22-0010363- 3511 Ringgold Road- Disorder-

The caller advised a middle-aged female was running around causing a scene. On scene police spoke to all involved and found the disorder to be verbal. The female left the property.

July 22 – Night Shift

4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:

Brianna Garrison was booked on an East Ridge warrant for Alias Capias – Poss. Controlled Substance at Hamilton County Jail. (22-010391)

1410 Mack Smith Road / Suspicious Activity:

Police were called due to two males who were sitting in their vehicles and harassing people as they walked through the parking lot. The caller also stated that the males were using narcotics and playing loud music. Upon arrival, the two subjects had gone inside, and contact could not be made. (22-010382)

941 Spring Creek / Assault:

Officers were dispatched to Parkridge East Hospital for a victim of an alleged assault. Upon arrival police spoke with reporting party who appeared to be intoxicated and could not advise on details of the incident. Police had responded to back EMS call in the 700 block of Marley Way for the same individual. On scene officers spoke with multiple parties who gave conflicting stories. Information report is on file. (22-010394)

4214 Ringgold Rd / warrant service:

A warrant for alias capias (driving on revoked) was served on Javaugh Watson. (22-010383)

July 23 – Day Shift

22-010400- 800 Belvoir Avenue- Alarm-

Police responded to check the school. On scene police found workers painting. The alarm was accidental.

22-010406- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service-

Jade Case was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.

22-010408- 100 block Kingwood Drive- Wellbeing Check-

Mobile Crisis requested police check on a resident. On scene police located an intoxicated subject. He was advised to answer his phone when they called. Mobile Crisis declined to respond.

22-010410- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service-

Kelley Welch was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.

22-010413- 1508 Keeble Street- Burglary-

The caller advised an unknown suspect entered a shed on the property. On scene police spoke with the caller. He advised his grandfather had died and he was taking care of the home while it was in probate. Police determined over the last week an exterior door of the shed in the yard had been opened and multiple items were taken. The owner is attempting to determine all items stolen and provide a list to police. Police have no suspects at this time.

July 23 – Night Shift

700 Marley Way / DUI Arrest:

Police were dispatched to a crash with unknown injuries at this location. While officers were driving on Fountain Avenue they were flagged down by an intoxicated male, Darius Harden, who was walking in the middle of the street. Harden appeared to have injuries to his face and feet. Upon further investigation, Harden was discovered to be the driver of the vehicle after finding his personal belongings in the street along with his registered vehicle sideways in a ditch. Harden was taken into custody for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. (22-010428)

6116 Ringgold Rd / Narcotics:

Kirsten Ownby was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule IV and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a traffic stop. (22-010422)

707 S Moore Rd / Burglary in progress:

The homeowner called police stating that a strange vehicle was parked in her driveway and a male was attempting to open the side door to her residence. Police arrived on scene to find a male sitting inside the vehicle in the driveway. The male was extremely intoxicated and advised he thought the residence belonged to his friend. He was identified as Luis Fernando Lopez and was arrested for public intoxication. (22-010433)

1410 Mack Smith Road / Drug Overdose:

Police were called due to a female overdosing inside a vehicle in the parking lot. Police arrived on scene and administered Narcan and provided care until EMS arrived. The female was transported to Parkridge East. A male on scene, Robert Free, was taken into custody on an active East Ridge warrant. (22-010423)

1410 Mack Smith Rd/ drug arrest:

Police spoke with Jacob Nixon in the parking lot. During the interaction Nixon was found to be in possession of methamphetamine for resale. (22-010430)

1417 Ringgold Rd/ misdemeanor citation:

While patrolling the lot of Motel 6 police made contact with Brittany Sites. During their interaction police discovered Sites was in possession of Fentanyl.
