July 26 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

July 24 – Day Shift

22-010435- 3627 Phelps Street- Open Door-

The out-of-town caller advised she could see the side door to her house open through her surveillance system. On scene the side door was secure, but the front door was found unlocked. Police checked the inside and secured the door.

22-010436- 3410 Myra Avenue- Check Hazard-

The caller advised a tree had fallen across the roadway. On scene barricades were set and the Street Department was contacted.

22-010437- 800 Belvoir Avenue- Alarm-

Police responded to check the school. On scene the alarm was found to be accidental.

22-010442- 6500 blk of Ringgold Road- Wellbeing Check-

The caller requested police check on two females with a baby walking along Ringgold Road. On scene the two females advised they were okay.

22-010445- 6700 Ringgold Road- Disorder-

The caller advised the guest from room 239 was at the front desk causing a disorder. On scene police spoke with the man. He advised he was angry with motel staff. He gathered his belongings and walked to the Econo Lodge.

22-010447- 631 Camp Jordan Parkway- Disorder-

The caller advised two males exchanged words over different parenting styles. On scene police spoke to all parties involved. The disorder was verbal only.

22-010451- 100 block Kingwood Drive- Suicidal Threats-

The extremely intoxicated caller advised her roommate was suicidal. On scene police spoke to the roommate and called him an ambulance. He was transported to the hospital.

July 24 – Night Shift

1410 St. Thomas Street / Arrest-Drugs: 

Alexander Collins was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Simple Possession of Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after driving up to Station 2.  22-010462

4214 Ringgold Road / Arrest-Warrant: 

Kaitlyn Ritche was arrested on active East Ridge Warrants. She was transported without incident. 22-010468

3700 Fountain Avenue / Felony Evading: 

A white Dodge Ram 1500 bearing TN registration BFW0586, was stopped for a traffic infraction.  When officer approached the passenger side door, the driver, a male, took off hitting the elbow of the officer.  The vehicle is owned by GSP Transportation, Inc., 2055 Alcoa Hwy, Box V, Alcoa, TN 37701.  22-010469

1512 Karwell Lane / Arrest-DUI: 

Officers were dispatched to said address about Phillip W. Headrick, formerly of said address being on the property unwanted.  Headrick was arrested for Evading Arrest, DUI, Reckless Endangerment X 2 and Driving While License Revoked, Suspended.  22-010471

800 S. Germantown Road / Arrest-DUI: 

Miguel Mincho was stopped for a traffic infraction and arrested for DUI.  22-010473
