July 28 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

July 26 Day Shift

(22-010517) 818 Mchann Dr. / public intoxication:

Thelisa Harper was arrested for Public Intoxication and criminal impersonation.

4214 Ringgold Rd (1300 block Reeves Avenue) (suspicious activity):

The complainant came to the police department to report delayed suspicious activity at her residence. The woman stated that when she arrived home around midnight, a male in his mid-30s, approximately 5’09, 140-150lbs with a red shaggy beard and ponytail in a white Ford F-150 extended cab pickup truck followed her to her residence. She stated the subject exited his vehicle and approached her in front of her apartment, asking if her name was Scarlett and how long she had lived there. The subject then quickly left the area. The complainant’s roommate advised that she has observed the same vehicle in the area throughout the past week. (22-010534).

1607 S. Seminole Dr (suspicious person):

Caller reported a male party standing in the roadway waving down cars and trying to direct traffic. On scene, police observed exactly that: a male party, a complete road crew, signs, and flags directing traffic for utilities. (22-010542).

6514 Ringgold Road (Criminal Trespass 22-010539):

Police were dispatched to the Mapco regarding a panhandler. The store manager requested the party be trespassed from the store property. Police met with the suspect who was informed of Mapco’s wishes; he was instructed to stay away. No further police action was taken.

1410 Mack Smith Burglary-

The complainant reported that while she was at work between the 0430 hrs. and 1530 hours, an unknown suspect entered her room and stole miscellaneous food items and housekeeping supplies. There were no signs of forced entry to the room. (22-101545)

Night Shift

1410 Mack Smith Rd (Verbal dispute 22-010550):

Police were called here in reference to a large group fighting in the parking lot. When police arrived all partied stated no fight took place, only a verbal argument. Police stood by while the crowd dispersed.

1410 Mack Smith Rd. (suicide threats/runaway 22-010559):

Police were called here in reference to a runaway/suicidal juvenile. Police located the child and the child was ultimately taken to children’s hospital due to ingesting 40 pills. The child consumed her mother’s blood pressure medication and sustained injures from an alleged assault that took place earlier in the night.

1615 Springvale Rd (arrest 22-010558):

Police got out with Kent Cunic at this location after viewing his vehicle parked in the parking lot at 0100 hours. Cunic was in possession of 13.2 grams of methamphetamine.
