August 2 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.

July 31 – Day Shift

(22-010768) 4214 Ringgold Rd. / Warrant service:

CPD took Kelby Reed into custody on active East Ridge warrants.

1100 block Leclerq Drive – Back EMS –

EMS requested PD due to a note on the address about violent tendencies.  EMS canceled PD while en route. (22-010762)

Bennett Road @ South Seminole Drive – Animal Call –

The caller reported an animal in the middle of the road appears to be sick.  Checked the area and located a raccoon on the side of the road, which appeared to be deceased.  (22-010763)

6105 Ringgold Rd. Disorder-

The manager of Popeye’s reported a disorder with an unruly customer. She stated the customer was upset that she had to wait on her food and told her to “step outside that she had something for her.” The manager stated she overheard the customer tell the passenger to get the gun from the glove box. The manager stated she had contacted PD by this time. She stated she never saw a gun, and the suspect left before police arrived. (22-010778)

July 31 – Night Shift

948 Spring Creek Road (Evading 22-010784):

Cedric Hayes was able to evade police on foot following a suspicious activity call at this location.

3801 Ringgold Road (Auto Theft 22-010802):

Police responded to Level Up in reference to an auto theft. On scene, Police located the “stolen” vehicle on the lot of Kingwood Auto Sales, where the reporting party’s friends had moved it.

4214 Ringgold Road (Arrest 22-010787):

Calos R. Navarrette was taken into custody by Collegedale Police on an East Ridge warrant for alias capias driving without a license.

1600 S. Seminole Drive (Warrant Service. 22-010800):

During a traffic stop at this location, Jesse Thompson was taken into custody on an extraditable Catoosa County warrant.
