Well, the playground has been open for only a few days and already there has been trouble according to police reports.

Actually there was trouble before it opened. People were tearing down the fence that kept it closed before an inspection could be done to declare it safe for use.

I hate to be a person who says “I told you so,” but there were lots of us that said it. All signs and indications before the playground was redone pointed to a major problem. I guess my comment about needing armed guards is not so stupid now. It grieves my heart to say that. I took my now-grown granddaughter to that playground when she was little. I never feared being there but I would now.
