The East Ridge Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting at the Waffle House on Sunday evening. 

According to a press release, officers responded to a reported shooting at the Waffle House at 6513 Ringgold Rd. at 10:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they found one male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by Hamilton County EMS. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Detectives and Crime Suppression Investigators are actively working to develop leads and gather additional evidence.
