Floyd: ‘Roadways are Terrible’

September 12, 2022 By Contributed Article 0 Comments

When is anyone on the City Council going to address the issue with the terrible roadways in East Ridge?

I have been talking to anyone and everyone that has anything to do with the roadways in East Ridge for over two years only to get excuses and broken promises.  Our roadways are terrible.

Tombras at Ringgold Road is pathetic as well as over by the old K-Mart off of McBrien.  We can put in extra-wide sidewalks (which no one uses), and open up all kind of rinky-dink businesses that do nothing but make our city look cheap and trashy, but we can’t seem to get anything done to our roadways that are traveled daily by school buses, policemen, firemen, ambulances, citizens and taxpayers, etc.

This is a shame and the City Council and Mayor should be ashamed.
