I’m Sick, are You?

I’m sick but it’s not from a virus…

I’m sick of corporate greed.

I’m sick of career politicians.

I’m sick of people telling me how I should think.

I’m sick of disrespect.

I’m sick of being called a racist.

I’m sick of people hiding behind keyboards.

I’m sick of paying for others that don’t want to work.

I’m sick of unprotected borders.

I’m sick of illegals being called undocumented.

I’m sick of paying taxes to support illegals.

I’m sick of lack of respect for the police.

I’m sick of people rioting and destroying public property.

I’m sick of liberal professors teaching hate.

I’m sick of George Soros, Bill Gates and Dr. Fauci.

I’m sick of hearing the number of people killed in Chicago.

I’m sick of the rioting in liberal run cities being portrayed as peaceful protests.

I’m sick of people not respecting our flag and our National Anthem.

I’m sick of Hollywood.

I’m sick of the NFL, MLB and NBA and their attitudes.

I’m sick of the lack of true journalism.

I’m sick because of a broken health care system and paying exorbitant insurance premiums.

I’m sick of being lied to.

I’m sick of failing schools.

I’m sick of being told I cannot worship but it’s OK to riot and protest.

I’m sick of the greatest country in the world being torn apart.

I’m sick of “D’s” and “R’s”, it’s time to be “A’s” (Americans).

What about you?

Dick Cook has lived in East Ridge since the Kennedy Administration when his parents bought a house on Marietta Street. Dick graduated from ERHS in 1976 before going on to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he studied Political Science. Dick worked for the Chattanooga Free-Press and the Chattanooga Times Free Press for 22 years. Free-Press Sports Editor Roy Exum plucked him out of production in 1989 and gave him a job as a sports reporter. Dick covered everything from prep sports to the whitewater events on the Ocoee River for the 1996 Olympics. When Chattanooga's two paper's merged, he became the Crime Reporter covering both the Chattanooga Police and Fire Departments. He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
