Jan. 15 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from East Ridge Police Department “pass along reports.”

Jan. 13 Day Shift

21-000515- 4338 Ringgold Road (Food Lion)- Found Property-

An individual called to advise she found a wallet in the parking lot of the business. Police responded and took possession of the wallet. An attempt to contact the owner was unsuccessful. The wallet was put in property.

21-000521- 1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel)- DOA-

A male subject was found dead in his room by his parole officer. CID and the Medical Examiner responded to process the scene. The decedent was transported to the forensics center by Hamilton County EMS.

 Night Shift

Germantown Road / Old Ringgold Road (Arrest 21-000549):

Shannon Lee was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop at this location.

4214 Ringgold Road (Warrant Service 21-000536):

Police served a Probation Capias: PTR for possession of controlled substance on Lisa Marie Blake.  She is currently confined in the Hamilton County Jail on a No Bond.

941 Spring Creek Road/Fight/A.O.A(21-000534):

Police assisted HCSO deputy working Parkridge East with an arrest. The male identified as Stephen Dunaway assaulted a doctor and resisted arrest.

706 Donaldson Road/Burglary(21-000555):

The resident reported that someone had broken into his apartment and stole multiple items. Report on file. 

182 I-24 WB/Felony Evading(21-000561):

Police attempted to conduct criminal interdiction on the Interstate. Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed westbound. Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but it continued 24 WB past 4th Ave. The vehicle is an older white four-door sedan unknown tag, possibly a Toyota Corolla.

619 Camp Jordan Pkwy / Traffic Stop / Juvenile Arrest(21-000562):

A traffic stop was initiated at this location on a white SUV. As officers began their investigation, three male juveniles fled from the vehicle in different directions. All three juveniles were taken into custody. The driver is charged with possession of marijuana, joy riding, and evading. The other two were detained until a guardian could respond to the police department to take possession of them.
