October 5, 2016 By Dick Cook 0 Comments

East Ridge blanked CSAS, 3-0, Tuesday in District 6 A/AA girls’ high school soccer on the road at CSAS.

Serena Smith had two goals, while newly-crowned Homecoming Queen Kendall Record scored. Emily Spiers an Kolbie Record were credited with assists.

The win improved the Lady Pioneers record to 6-0 in district play and 7-4 overall. East Ridge’s final regular-season home game is Thursday versus Sweetwater. After the game nine seniors on the squad will be honored in the traditional “Senior Night” ceremonies.

The District 6 A/AA Tournament starts Friday. East Ridge, by virtue of its top seeding, will have a bye into the semifinals. The Lady Pioneers are scheduled to take on the winner of the Central-Tyner matchup at Camp Jordan at 7 p.m.
