Day Shift December 11 : B Squad
25-012782- 3300 BLK Ringgold Rd- Commercial Fire – Police responded to a commercial fire complaint at the gas station. Officers arrived and assisted ERFD by clearing the building and maintaining the perimeter until they took charge of the scene.
25-012789 / 25-012790- 3800 BLK Fountain Ave- Fraud – The victim requested a fraud report after sending a total of $4,100 in gift cards to a male identifying himself as Theodore Jones from Publishers Clearing House.
25-012793- 5400 BLK Oakdale Avenue- Warrant Service – A man was taken into custody on eight outstanding East Ridge warrants for vandalism and burglary.
Night Shift December 11: D Squad
25-012802 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Traffic Stop / Arrest – During a traffic stop at the above location, a man fled on foot after an officer attempted to frisk him for weapons. He was pursued by officers and eventually taken into custody. EMS cleared him on scene, and he was transported to jail on multiple charges. An officer sustained a fractured arm during the struggle. The man fled because he had a joint in his pocket.
25-012803-4300 BLK Esterbrook Drive-MVC No injuries/DUI Arrest – While patrolling the 4300 block of Ringgold Road, a passerby informed the police that a black Honda Civic had hit a telephone pole at Ringgold at South Moore Road and fled the scene. Officers were able to locate the Civic by following a trail of fluid to the 4300 block of Esterbrook Drive. After investigating, a man was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to Hamilton County Jail without any issues.
