Day Shift February 24: B Squad
26-01696 – 3400 BLK Crabtree Drive – Attempted Fraud – Police spoke with a resident who stated that she received a phone call from an individual claiming to work for Apple. The Apple employee asked for her banking information and inquired about her account balance. She believed it was a scam and wanted to make a police report.
26-001700-300 BLK Camp Jordon Parkway-Disorder/Vandalism – Following a road rage incident and a verbal altercation on Camp Jordan Parkway, a man punched the side of another party’s vehicle and left the scene prior to police arrival. The victim declined prosecution; he only wanted a report for documentation purposes. Police later located the suspect in the Camp Jordan area, educated him on his behavior, and then sent him on his way.
Night Shift February 24 : D Squad
6-001701 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Arrest – During a consensual encounter, a woman was taken into custody for a capias warrant from Hamilton County for possession of narcotics with intent to distribute and a probation violation warrant from Soddy Daisy. During the same encounter, another female was taken into custody on East Ridge warrants for possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
26-001703 – 800 BLK Hardin Drive – Mentally Disturbed – Police responded to a reported mental health concern at this address. The caller informed dispatch that his daughter was outside yelling. The caller also stated that she had a knife and was telling people to put their hands up. Police met with both. The subject stated she was going through something but denied making any kind of threats to harm herself or anyone else and declined to be transported to a hospital for mental health treatment. The caller also stated that the woman did not threaten anyone with the knife. The caller was told to call back if needed.
26-001704- 1510 Maxwell Road- Burglar Alarm – Police received an alarm triggered at the employee entrance to the Post Office. Upon arrival, police observed an employee unloading a delivery from a truck at the facility. The employee confirmed that he set off the alarm when he entered the door. The alarm was accidental, and for the first time, after many false alarms triggered at the employee’s entrance, it was an employee who set it off.
