Day Shift January 7 : B Squad

26-000204- 6100 BLK Welworth Avenue – Arrest – While being taken into custody on outstanding East Ridge warrants, a party received a new charge of making 911 in non-emergency situations.

26-000206- 6100 BLK Welworth Avenue- Arrest/ Warrant Service – A man was taken into custody on three outstanding East Ridge Forfeiture Capias. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

26-000207- 5700 BLK Ringgold Rd- Indecent Exposure – Management requested a police report when an unknown male appeared to be conducting indecent exposure activities within the store. No further action was detected, and the male was wearing a mask and unable to be identified at the time of incident.

26-000215- 3300 BLK Frawley Street-Miscellaneous Complaint – Police were dispatched to the listed address on a report of two suspicious male parties, who were spotted by the reporting party on their Ring doorbell checking their front door. It was discovered that the two males were with a church charity service attempting to deliver groceries to the wrong address.

26-000216- 4300 BLK Spriggs Street- Disorder Prevention – A man met at the police station and requested an officer to drop keys off with his father-in-law due to tension between both parties. The intended recipient was not at the above listed address at the time police arrived, but a friendly neighbor attempted to contact the man in front of police and stated he would make sure the keys were returned to him once he came back home for the day.

26-000217 – 1300 BLK Saint Thomas Street- Check the Wellbeing – A concerned neighbor requested police check on the resident after overhearing him shouting expletives from his home. The man stated he was merely verbally venting his frustrations with the world, and his neighbor has overactive hearing.

26-000221 – 3600 BLK Cline Road – Disorder – The caller reported being verbally accosted by a male in a blue truck following a possible road rage incident. He stated the male party followed him through his neighborhood and made statements suggesting he would introduce the caller to some of his friend in a less than friendly manner. The complainant stated he did not have any suspect information and was advised to contact police if any issues arose at or around his residence.

Night Shift January 7: D Squad

26-000233 – 6700 BLK – Misuse of 911 – A man called the emergency 911 line three times within two hours, stating someone was following him. ERPD asked the party if he wanted to go to the hospital, and he replied in the negative. He was advised not call 911 unless it was an emergency. The third time he called 911, he requested that ERPD just take him to jail. He was taken into custody for misuse of 911 and transported to jail.

26-000238- 6600 BLK Ringgold Road- Property Call – A woman reported that her friend refused to return her purse. The subject was staying at an East Ridge motel. Police located the woman, who initially denied having the purse until she looked in the backseat of her car. Since she located the purse under the observation of a police officer, she willingly returned the property. With the return of the property, no further action was taken.
