The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift January 8 : B Squad

26-000246 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice – The owner reported a party attempted to cash a check for $26,000 using their banking account information at an unknown PNC Bank location. The business advised they would forward any information as they received it.

26-000249- 5600 BLK Ringgold Road- Unknown Trouble – Police responded to the business after Catoosa County deferred the call to East Ridge. The call came in as an unknown trouble by a Spanish-speaking male. Police arrived on scene but did not locate anyone in distress, and the staff was not aware of anything going on at this time. Officers attempted to call the number provided multiple times with no response.

26-000259- 6500 BLK Burr Street – Open Door – Police responded to the above address after the reporting party observed his neighbor’s front door open with keys in the lock. Officers cleared the residence, found no occupants, secured the door, and took the keys to the East Ridge Police Department for safekeeping.

26-000263- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Assault in Progress – Police responded to an assault in progress complaint. Upon arrival, all parties present were without injury and stated it was only an argument that became loud. Police asked the parties to separate if tensions worsened and departed the scene without further incident.

Night Shift January 8: D Squad

26-000270 – 5500 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft in Progress – Police responded to the above address for a reported theft in progress. The RP reported seeing a male via security cameras under the modular homes, possibly stealing wiring. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone or any obvious signs of property damage. The RP stated that he would check the units and call back in the morning if any property damage or theft was discovered.

26-000273 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a woman was served with a petition to revoke, with the original charge being possession of a controlled substance.
