Day Shift June 5
A Squad 25-005943 – 1200 BLK Connelly Lane – Traffic Stop / Narcotics Violation – Police initiated a traffic stop on a Ford Fusion with inoperable brakes lights. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Red Bank. Search prior to arrest officers discovered .6 grams of fentanyl and cut straws on her person. She was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-005935 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – A woman was served with three arrest warrants for the following offenses: Forfeiture Capias – Domestic Assault, Forfeiture Capias – Criminal Impersonation, and Forfeiture Capias – Driving on Revoked, Cancelled or Suspended License. The warrants were executed while she was in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
25-005936 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road – Deceptive Practice – A man called police to inquire if he had an active warrant for his arrest, further stating he received a suspicious call from an unknown number advising that he did. He was checked for warrants and informed on how to check active warrants using Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office’s website.
25-005947 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft of Property – An employee reported two unknown white males stole a $350 above ground pool from the patio. Warrants will not be sought pending identification, as the manager only wants the pool to be brought back.
25-005942 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice/Suspicious Activity – Police spoke with employees who reported that approximately 26 checks—cashed from multiple individuals and linked to four different companies—were returned due to insufficient funds. Authorities have identified both the individuals who cashed the checks, and the owners of the companies involved. Currently, no warrants are being pursued due to a lack of sufficient evidence. Further investigation is required to determine whether charges of fraud or issuing worthless checks are appropriate.
Night Shift June 5
25-005961- 3600 BLK Craig Road- Domestic Assault/Arrest – A man reported his son assaulted him by striking him in the face with a cell phone. Police found him with numerus lacerations on his face and swelling on his eyes. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival, and K-9 Quest was deployed to located him. Police located the suspect, and a struggle ensued. During the struggle multiple officers were assaulted while attempting to take the party into custody. Ultimately, he was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and charged with domestic assault, resisting arrest, and three counts of assault on law enforcement.
25-005954 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Activity / Arrest – Police were dispatched to a report of a suspicious male tampering with the coin machines at the business. Officers observed what appeared to be a narcotics transaction taking place in the alley behind the business. Officers contacted two individuals who were seen attempting to discard approximately 0.7g of methamphetamine over a fence. K-9 Quest was requested to assist with a search of the area and located the suspected methamphetamine along with an unused syringe in the wooded area behind the fence. Both subjects were taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and tampering with evidence. One was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
25-005963 – 4100 BLK Belvoir Dr – Burglary in Progress – Police responded to a report of a possible burglary in progress call from a resident who believed someone was attempting to enter her back door. Officers searched the area but found no evidence of forced entry or attempted burglary.
25-005964 – 300 BLK Frawley Rd – Disorder – Police were dispatched to this location after a report of a male banging on the door. Upon arrival, officers identified the male and determined he had been residing at the residence for approximately two months. The incident was determined to be a verbal dispute, and the tenant was advised on the eviction process should she choose to pursue it.
