Law and Order November 19

Day Shift November 18 : B Squad

25-0112036-Old Ringgold Road/Poindexter Avenue-MVC/DUI Arrest/Evading – Police responded to the intersection of Poindexter Avenue and Old Ringgold Road on a report of a crash with unknown injuries. Upon Police arrival, an unidentified male fled the scene of the crash. A perimeter was set up in the immediate area and the department issued drone was deployed to attempt to locate the individual. Attempts to locate the subject were unsuccessful; a warrant for evading will be sought upon identification of the suspect. While investigating the crash, the driver of the vehicle was found to be intoxicated; he was taken into custody for driving under the influence and transported to the jail.

25-012027- 6200 BLK Ringgold Rd- Harassment/Warrants Obtained – Warrants were obtained charging criminal trespass and harassment.

25-012048 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Miscellaneous – A man reported receiving multiple phone calls from his longtime girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend and inquired about the process for obtaining an order of protection. The complainant advised the calls and contact occurred at his place of employment in Chattanooga and he was advised to file a report with CPD.

25-012052 – 1517 Tombras Avenue – Warrant Service – A woman was taken into custody at court after she was observed falling asleep in the courtroom and almost falling out of her chair and then being found to have a valid ERPD Violation of Probation warrant. She was later transported to Hamilton County Jail where she was served with the warrant and booked.

25-012052- 1517 Tombras- Arrest – A woman was taken into custody on two outstanding warrants for animals at large.

25-012040- 5500 BLK Ringgold Road- Vandalism – Police responded for a report of vandalism. The store manager reported the same individual from ERPD case numbers 25-008556 and 25-008908. The suspect breaks into the back of washing machines to find miscellaneous loose items. If identified, management wants the suspect charged with vandalism and trespassed.

25-012050- 200 BLK Eads Street- Harassment – The reporting party reported a friend/ ex-girlfriend has been harassing him relentlessly contacting his work, family members, and band partners. An officer spoke with the woman and advised her that the man does not wish to have contact with her.

Night Shift November 18: D Squad

25-012055 – 5301 Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to the above address for a report of suspicious activity. Store staff requested that a man be issued a criminal trespass warning due to a history of shoplifting. He was informed that he was no longer welcome on business property and would be arrested if he returned.
