The ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards heads to the Music City for the running of the Music City 200 presented by Azure Foundation at the famed Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville. The race will include two cars from Hixson Motorsports located in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee.

Crystal Bates, of Hixson Motorsports, says the race will include both cars from Hixson Motorsports.

“Eric Caudell will be back in the No. 2 Hixson Construction Chevrolet,” Bates said about the upcoming race weekend. “And Mike Senica will be behind the wheel of the No. 3  Bell Plantation Chevrolet.”

Driver Mike Senica, of Doylestown Pennsylvania, opened up the season in Daytona with a solid run during the Lucas Oil 200 where he finished in the top-25. Senica is expecting an exciting run in Nashville.

“I’m just really excited to get back in the No. 3 Bell Plantation Chevrolet – and back with Hixson Motorsports once again.,” Senica said about the upcoming race. “I Ran here (Nashville) last year, but due to mechanical issues was forced out early – so I’m looking for a much better finish on Saturday night.

Eric Caudell, of Piedmont Oklahoma, hopes to improve on the 2017 ARCA racing season as his opening run in Daytona ended early. The driver of the No. 2 Hixson Construction Chevrolet says that he’s excited to be with Hixson Motorsports for the Music City Race weekend. The driver spoke about his new connection to Chattanooga area courtesy of Hixson Motorsports.

“We’re excited about the first ARCA short track race of the season at Nashville Fairgrounds this Saturday,” Caudell said. “I visited Chattanooga a few weeks this winter as we built a number of the Hixson Construction Chevys. We had a strong car that ran 188 mph at Daytona –  but got caught up in one of the big crashes.  That car is being repaired for Talladega which will be televised on Fox Sports 1.  This Saturdays race is televised on MAVTV.”
