March 22 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

March 20 – Day Shift

22-003863- 5707 Ringgold Road- Shoplifting-

The caller advised a male entered the store and took several items. He left the property on a blue bicycle. On scene police checked the area but did not locate the suspect.

6514 Ringgold Road / Arrest: (22-003864)

Shaynah Gaddis was arrested for possession of fentanyl. Michael Ray was arrested for possession of fentanyl and possession of schedule III. Both arrest were following a traffic stop at this location.

22-003865- 3900 Whiley Avenue- AOA-

Chattanooga police requested officers check this address for a Devonte Norris. On scene police located Norris. CPD responded and took him into custody and transported to Silverdale.

22-003877- 300 blk of Camp Jordan Parkway- Disorder/AOA-

The caller advised of people and dogs fighting in the area of the walking bridge. On scene police spoke to all parties involved and found the argument evolved due to irresponsible dog owners. Animal control was contacted and made aware of the situation. 

22-003880- 2100 block Dabney Drive- Mental Health Consumer-

The caller advised a mental patient escaped from the 3800 block of Altamira Drive. On scene police located the individual. She was transported to Parkridge East for an evaluation.

March 20 – Night Shift

1500 Burns Ave / Arrest-Drugs for resale: 

During a traffic stop at this location Michael Gross and Sandy Wilkey were arrested for meth for resale. 18.4 grams of methamphetamine and $1889 in cash were seized.  22-003891

5332 Oakdale Avenue / DUI: 

Javier Francisco was taken into custody for DUI and possession of schedule II following a traffic stop.  22-003894
