The following people are scheduled to appear in East Ridge Municipal Court on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Court is held at City Hall on Tombras Avenue and begins at 3 p.m.

Butch Shirley – possession meth, possession schedule IV, possession schedule II, drug paraphernalia, possession prohibited weapon.

David Tarpley – domestic assault, violations conditions of release.

Stephen Wright – simple possession marijuana/PTR.

Lawrence Carter – possession heroin/PTR.

Lakesha Crawford – possession meth/PTR (2).

Kenneth Davis – suspended DL/alias capias, no insurance.

Desmond Gearing – criminal simulation (2), false reports.

Marcus Moore – possession meth/resale, drug paraphernalia.

Steven Nave – possession meth, possession firearm during felony, burglary, theft of services, suspended DL, registration violation, no insurance.

Wesley Norwood – theft of property/PTR.

Nelson Ramirez-Chilel – DUI, no DL.

Emily Sells – possession schedule II, possession controlled substance/PTR.

Paula Beard – fraud use of credit/debit.

Erick Bradley – aggravated burglary, domestic assault.

David Brewer – possession meth, possession marijuana, possession schedule II, drug paraphernalia, suspended DL, registration violation, registration/improper display.

Billy Brown – drug paraphernalia.

Patrick Daly – aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, vandalism.

Douglas Davis – possession meth/for capias, registration violation.

Russell Davis – drug paraphernalia, possession meth.

Joshua Fleetwood – evading arrest, revoked DL.

James M. Garner – assault, violation conditions of release.

Jonathan Harris – aggravated domestic, domestic assault, intimidation.

Berlinda Jones – theft.

Robert Kokoszka – DUI, fail to maintain lane.

Thomas Lee – drug paraphernalia.

Christopher McElrath – domestic assault, disorderly conduct.

Christopher Meyer – simple possession, suspended DL, light law.

Wendall Moore – revoked DL, theft over $1,000.

Maeghan Owens – possession schedule VI, revoked DL.

Brandon Quarles – possession heroin, unlawful possession firearm/felon, possession meth, theft under $1,000, drug paraphernalia.

Thomas Ragland Jr. – DUI/2nd, implied consent, fail to maintain lane.

Taye Scoggins – custodial interference.

Wanda Shannon – public intoxication.

Evon Shutley – DUI.

Donald Smith – public intoxication.

Robert Smith – domestic assault, violation conditions of release.

Chase Steele – DUI, wrong side of road.

John Stephens – DUI, possession schedule IV, drug paraphernalia, simple possession xanax, fail to maintain lane, leaving the scene.

Lishonteion Strickland – criminal conspiracy, fraud use of credit card, criminal conspiracy over $2,500, theft over $2,500.

Christopher Taylor – drug paraphernalia.

Michael Usher – domestic assault, interference with 911.

Erberto Visoso – revoked DL, open container.

Michael Von Peters – aggravated assault.

Tracy Warfield – possession meth/resale, possession schedule I/cocaine, suspended DL, bumper law.

Dick Cook has lived in East Ridge since the Kennedy Administration when his parents bought a house on Marietta Street. Dick graduated from ERHS in 1976 before going on to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he studied Political Science. Dick worked for the Chattanooga Free-Press and the Chattanooga Times Free Press for 22 years. Free-Press Sports Editor Roy Exum plucked him out of production in 1989 and gave him a job as a sports reporter. Dick covered everything from prep sports to the whitewater events on the Ocoee River for the 1996 Olympics. When Chattanooga's two paper's merged, he became the Crime Reporter covering both the Chattanooga Police and Fire Departments. He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
