NFIB Tennessee PAC Endorses Helton in District 30 State House Race

September 1, 2020 By Dick Cook and Contributed Article 0 Comments

NASHVILLE  – The NFIB Tennessee PAC, the political action committee of the state’s leading small business advocacy organization, has endorsed State Representative Esther Helton in her re-election campaign to the District 30 seat in the Tennessee State House. The NFIB Tennessee PAC is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.

“Our members support the candidates who they believe will support small business, and Esther Helton has shown us that she truly understands the challenges facing Tennessee’s job creators,” said Jim Brown, the National Federation of Independent Business’ state director for Tennessee. “Rep. Helton is committed to creating and maintaining an environment where small businesses can grow and create jobs.”

“I am grateful and honored to have the support and endorsement of NFIB as I renew my pledge to continue advocating for the interest of small business owners as they are the backbone of our economy and critical to job creation and sustained economic growth in District 30 and across Tennessee,” Rep. Helton said. “I look forward to working with the NFIB and others in passing legislation that helps grow our communities, not government.”

The NFIB Tennessee PAC endorsement is critical to candidates’ campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB Tennessee PAC’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small business issues.
