Police Briefs for June 11

The following information is from East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.

June 10 Day Shift

2774 Fountain Avenue:

Police responded to an activated alarm at this residence.  The homeowner was away from the home and the neighbor was checking the residence. 

4348 Ringgold Road:

Police responded to this location regarding a report of a missing juvenile that was located at the Checkers Restaurant.  Police contacted the juvenile inside the Checkers Restaurant.  It was verified that the juvenile was listed as missing out of Hamilton County.  The juvenile was detained and transported to the East Ridge Fire and Police Service Center. 

Allison Scarborough, DCS, was contacted and she advised that she would be sending a hold notification to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.  The juvenile was then transported to the HC Juvenile Detention Center. 

Night Shift

3657 Ringgold Road:

A caller advised that her mother, Doris P., had fallen at the Cascades Motel and hit her head.  The daughter was also concerned about her mother’s level of intoxication.  The mother was located in room 74.  EMS was called to the scene, but the woman refused transport. 

6700 Ringgold Road:

Destiny McDaniel was arrested for having warrants out of Hamilton County. 

1600 block of GlowmontDrive::

Police were dispatched to the area regarding juveniles being loud.  Police encountered the juveniles in the street playing basketball.  They were advised to go inside for the night. 

3818 Kingwood Circle:

The resident reported her husband, Johnny Jones, as a missing and endangered adult.  Mr. Jones was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt at approximately 3:30 am to 4:00 am. 

3617 Weldon Drive:

Police stood by while the East Ridge Street Department personnel cut up a downed tree that was blocking the entire roadway. 

6513 Ringgold Road: 

Jacob Chambers was arrested for public intoxication.
