Police Briefs Jan. 11

January 11, 2018 By Dick Cook 0 Comments

_ 1602 Maxwell Rd.: Police responded to the address on Tuesday to an “unknown trouble” call. According to a police report, when an officer arrived he spoke to a woman who said that her husband and she got into a heated verbal argument over him playing video games and calling her a bad mother. The woman told police that she became upset and threw something at the video game. According to the woman, her husband became enraged, charging her, throwing her to the ground and choking her.

The report states that the woman grabbed her husband’s genitals in an attempt to get him off of her, and the defendant began “choking her harder,” picking her up off the ground. The woman told police she was able to hit the power button on her phone, at which time the “SOS” feature on her phone called 911. The report states that the woman had red abrasions on her neck consistent with having been choked.

The woman’s husband, Chris Kimbrell, 24, was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Aggravated Assault and taken to the Hamilton County Jail. It is unclear when Kimbrell is due to appear in municipal court.

_  7317 Haven Hill Ln.: Police were dispatched to the address on Monday on a possible fight. According to a police report, when officers arrived they found a woman in her upstairs bedroom with the door partially closed. The woman said that her boyfriend, Jacob Brickley Forester, had come home and appeared to have been drinking. The woman told police that she had come home early to pay the babysitter. The report states that the woman told police that the couple began arguing over a cell phone. The woman said that Forester became aggressive and she pushed him away from her.

The report states that Forester grabbed the woman and she slapped Forester in an attempt to persuade him to unhand her. The woman said that Forester slapped her back on the back side of her head while the woman was holding their one-year-old child. The woman told police that her 16-year-old brother had called 911 from his upstairs bedroom. The brother informed dispatchers of the fight.

Forester was located by officers outside of the residence. The report states that police could smell a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Forester denied any physical fighting. The report states that police determined Forester had been the primary aggressor and was taken into custody. He was booked into the Hamilton County Jail on Domestic Assault charges.

Forester was also charged with Child Abuse and Neglect from an incident on March 22. In that incident it is alleged the couple were arguing after Forester had been drinking. The affidavit of complaint in this incident alleges that Forester grabbed the couple’s large breed dog and dragged it across the child’s face. The report states that the child suffered a minor injury to her right eye.
