Police Briefs June 1

_ 514 Wando Dr.: Police were called o the address recently in regard to a burglary. According to a police report, when an officer arrived he spoke with the daughter of the homeowner who said that she showed up to her mother’s house and saw a black scooter in the driveway. The daughter then saw a white male wearing all black come around from the back of the house carrying a television. The woman told police that the man got on the scooter and left the area turning south on South Terrace. The report states that the homeowner told police that the burglar entered the house through an unlocked bathroom window. The victim told police that she has an alarm system but that it wasn’t activated at the time of the burglary and theft. According to the report, the thief got away with an iPad.

_ 3408 Amber Ave.: Police responded to the address recently on a possible theft. According to a police report, the homeowner told an officer that a neighbor called her and said they saw a blue Dodge pickup drive up to three different mailboxes, including hers, and stop. The report states that it is unknown how many people were in the truck. The homeowner told police that she doesn’t know if any of her mail was taken. No other information was available at the time of the report.
