Police Briefs March 20

March 20, 2019 By Dick Cook 0 Comments

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports for Tuesday, March 19.

San Hisi Drive / Welworth Avenue: Dispatch received a call from a male subject who stated he located a two (2) to three (3) year old male standing at the roadside alone.  Shortly after police responded and arrived on scene, the mother of the child was located.  The mother advised she left her child with her 18-year-old sister for a short period of time while she left the residence for a short period of time.  She said she returned to the home and discovered the child was not there.  East Ridge Fire personnel and EMS responded to the scene to check the well-being of the child due to the cold temperature and the child’s lack of clothing.  The child was returned to his mother.

1503 McDonald Road: Police responded to the Waverly Motel after receiving a report of a disorder.  The occupant of room 114 called police to report a disorder in room 115.  The caller stated that the noise level in room 115, followed by the refusal of management to intervene, was a factor in prompting his call to police.

1502 Prater Road:Police received a call of a subject that was possibly overdosing on an unknown substance.  A subject on scene was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

1500 Mack Smith Road: Jessica Brock, 20, of Lafayette, Ga., was taken into custody on active warrants out of Catoosa County, Georgia. The fugitive warrants were discovered during a traffic stop where encountered Ms. Brock.  She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

3600 Shirl Jo Lane: Police received a call from a woman at this address who said her boyfriend returned her car, which had been reported stolen earlier in the day.  The vehicle information was taken out of NCIC.  The woman refused to prosecute but wanted her boyfriend to leave the residence.

3600 Shirl Jo Lane:The caller advised someone took her 2007 gold Ford Edge.  A report was taken, and the vehicle information entered into NCIC.
