_ 4334 Ringgold Rd.: Police observed Amerka Faires in the driver’s seat of a silver Nissan parked off-set in a parking spot at the Regions Bank on Monday. According to a police report, officers had prior knowledge of Faires recently pleading guilty to a DUI, which in turn, precipitated the loss of her license for a year. The report states that police know the woman to have a history of illegally using prescription pills. According to the report, Faires gave officers permission to search her purse in which police located an Alprazolam prescription bottle containing a clear baggie of suspected methamphetamine. A syringe was also located in Faires’s jacket pocket. Faires, 53, of a Kingwood Circle address, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

_ 6302 Ringgold Rd.: Police were dispatched to the address, Wednesday, in regard to a woman being passed out behind the wheel of a car. According to a police report, when officers arrived at the Arby’s restaurant they found Jennifer Campbell passed out in the driver’s seat with her vehicle still running. The report states that an officer opened the unlocked door of the car and removed the keys from the ignition. The report states that an officer was at first unable to determine the identity of the woman because of her level of intoxication. Officers located a purse in the passenger seat, and while looking for the woman’s identification came across a glass pipe, commonly used for smoking drugs. The report states that Campbell was confused about where she was, her speech was slurred and she was unsteady on her feet. The report states that Campbell admitted to smoking drugs earlier in the evening and drove to Arby’s where she was found passed out. The report states that while at the Hamilton County Jail, Campbell admitted that she had smoked methamphetamine. Campbell, 43, of a Patten Chapel address in Chattanooga, was booked on charges of Public Intoxication and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
