Police Briefs May 23

The following information comes from East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.

May 22–Day Shift

1501 Tombras Avenue:

Officers observed four (4) juveniles trespassing inside the McBrien Elementary School.  When officers approached, the juveniles ran and exited the school through a small window.  It is believed they entered the school through the same window.  The juveniles were stopped a short distance away after they attempted to flee from the area.  All of the juveniles were issued criminal trespass warnings and picked up by their parents. 

6600 Ringgold Road:

Charles Lowery was issued a citation for simple possession of marijuana. 

May 22 – Night Shift

4150 Monroe Street:

Police responded to this location in reference to a vehicle fire.  Police did not locate a vehicle on fire but did locate a vehicle that was overheated. 

4150 Monroe Street:

Walmart Loss Prevention called in about a shoplifting incident.  A man was seen filling a red bag with approximately $70.00 worth of meat.  The suspect left the scene in a white minivan of an unknown make and model. 

5517 Ringgold Rd:

Police responded to the laundromat at this location for a report of a disorder involving a weapon. Upon arrival contact was made with the reporting party, Matt M.  Mr. M. advised he witnessed an altercation between two people on bikes. He said that one of the subjects brandished a firearm. While obtaining additional information from the reporting party police learned that he never saw the firearm, but instead he stated one of the males in the altercation had something in his waistband that was like a pistol grip. The suspect fled the scene on a BMX bike with a green light on the front. Police were not able to locate the person.

728 Frawley Road:

Police responded to this location in reference to a female who was slumped over her steering wheel. After police encountered her she was alert. The female party was sitting in her van waiting with UBER for another customer.

3614 Norma Drive:

Chattanooga Police requested we attempt to locate a juvenile who was believed to have snuck out and went to this location.  Police were unable to establish contact with anyone at the location. 

6011 Wentworth:

Police responded to a noise complaint at this address and found Andrew Santora. It was discovered that he had an active warrant out of Hamilton County.  Mr. Santora was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

215 Eads Street:

Haley Leamon was arrested for Domestic Assault at this location.

3918 Ringgold Road:

Contact was made with several juveniles who were out past curfew. Contact was made with guardians to pick up the juveniles.

3326 Ringgold Road: Kelly Carroll was arrested for the Possession of Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia.
