The Red Wolves and Northern Colorado battled to a scoreless draw, Saturday at CHI Memorial Stadium in USL League One action.

Jose Carrera-Garcia, the R’ Wolves captain, had a free kick in the 53rd minute that was denied by a one-handed save by goalkeeper Johan Penaranda.

The draw left the Red Wolves with a 6-8-3 record, while Colorado went to 5-6-5. Both team have 21 points in league play.

The game was the first for interim head coach Jimmy Weekly. He is filling in for Jimmy Obleda, who was indefinitely suspended while allegations of discrimination, harassment and abuse/bullying are being investigated.
