September 30, 2025 By Contributed Article Leave a Comment

Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting death of a woman Saturday night at a gathering at a house on Indian Springs Road.

According to a press release, on Saturday just before 11 p.m. deputies responded to a noise complaint at 541 Indian Springs Rd. At the location, deputies encountered a chaotic scene with 10 or more individuals gathered in the yard. As deputies approached, shots were fired by fleeing suspects on foot.

The incident reportedly escalated after an argument got physical among partygoers which ultimately led to gunfire. Preliminary information indicates that the suspects were known to individuals at the party.

Deputies found two female victims suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately gave aid until EMS arrived. Both victims were taken to a hospital where one later died from her injuries.

Authorities identified the deceased woman as Daysha Lynch, 24. Her 18-year-old sister Emma Lynch is in stable condition and recovering from her injuries.

Investigators urge anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office at 706/935-2424.a
