June 16 Police Briefs

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

June 15, Day Shift

No number assigned- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Check Hazard- The caller advised several turkeys were in the roadway at this location. On scene the turkeys had departed from the area.

No number assigned- 3500 BLK Cherokee Avenue- Miscellaneous- The caller requested police pick up a container of gunpowder for disposal. CPD EOD was contacted. CPD responded and picked up the powder.

23-007358- 400 BLK South Moore Road- Suspicious Activity- The caller advised a male was putting a female in a maroon Mustang. The female appeared limp. On scene police checked the area but the Mustang was gone.

23-007364- 700 BLK Belvoir Avenue- Suspicious Person/Drug Arrest/Warrant Service- A woman was arrested and transported to Silverdale following a burglary in progress call at this location. She was found to have East Ridge warrants and be in possession of narcotics.

Night Shift

23-006620 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Supplemental Report – ERPD were advised by Fort Payne PD (Alabama) of a stolen firearm recovery. The firearm was originally reported stolen from East Ridge. A supplemental report has been completed.

23-007373 – 1600 BLK S Smith Street – Crash-Property Damage – Police responded to this address after the homeowner observed a vehicle strike her residence causing minor damage.

23-007381 – 4600 BLK Rossville Boulevard – Arrest-Warrant – A woman was arrested on an Alias Capias warrant for Driving on Revoked, Suspended, or Cancelled License. She was transported by Chattanooga Police Department.

23-007382 – 900 BLK State Line Road – Assist EMS – Police were called here regarding a patient complaining of chest pain. The chest pain occurred after a large amount of marijuana was consumed. EMS responded and treated the patient.

No Case Number – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Broken Down Auto – A family traveling from Florida to Missouri stopped at this location and discovered a flat tire. Officer attempted changing the tire but the spare did not fit correctly.
