August 31 Police Briefs

Day Shift August 30

23-011040 – 700 BLK Frawley Rd – Vehicle Burglary – The victim reported an unknown party may have entered his unsecured vehicle during the evening of 08/28/2023 and removed a brown leather bag containing his various medications.

23-011036- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- Unconscious Person- Officers responded to this address for an unconscious person inside the store. Officers found the male party passed out in a back aisle. He was intoxicated and was in possession of a firearm. The man was placed into custody for public intoxication and possession of a handgun while under the influence.

Night Shift August 29

23-011071 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Assist Other Agency – During a call for service at this location a man was taken into custody and transported to the jail for his outstanding warrant out of Hamilton County.

23-011060 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Chattanooga Police contacted a party who had 3 active warrants out of East Ridge. CPD transported him to the Hamilton County Jail.

23-011068 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – Police served a probation revocation (possession of controlled substance) warrant on a party while he was in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

23-011072 – 100 I-75 South – Assist A Citizen – Police located a male party walking on I-75 South enroute to the Airport. Police gave the party a ride to Chattanooga Airport.

23-010627 – 1000 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Supplement – The caller requested a phone call with the police concerning her stolen Ford Escape. She believed a male named “James” stole the Ford Escape out of Catoosa County while her daughter was using it. Based on her description, Police determined a possible full identity for the man. She did not have any concrete evidence of his involvement but stated her daughter was heavily influenced by the person and his illegal drug activities.
