Residents May Hear Loud Noises or See Choppers

The U.S. Department of Defense will be conducting training in the City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County beginning Monday, April 15 through Saturday, April 20.  This training exercise has been carefully planned and coordinated long in advance with law enforcement and local authorities.  It is not in response to any current local or world events. 

This type of training is frequently conducted numerous times a year in small and large cities throughout all regions of the United States.

There have been extensive planning considerations taken into account from both Department of Defense and local government authorities as to the training and how it can impact our community and our citizens. During this time, residents may hear loud noises or see helicopters in the evening and early morning hours during the exercise.
