Police Briefs for June 13

Day Shift June 12

24-007530- 5400 BLK Ringgold Road- Property- A citizen washing his vehicle at the car wash turned over a debit card he found in the wash bay. The debit card was placed into the property room for safe keeping.

24-007545- 3200 BLK Old Ringgold Road- Missing Person- The caller advised his wife was missing and she has dementia. The wife was located a short time later at the neighbor’s house.

24-007550- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Road- Disorder Prevention- The caller requested a police escort to retrieve his belongings from this address. Officers stood by while he gathered his property and left the residence.

Night Shift June 12

24-007560 – 1200 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Property – The caller advised that a concrete truck struck the church’s power pole causing it to collapse. The driver of the vehicle then drove away from the scene. Police will attempt to follow up with the company to try and identify the driver of the truck.

24-007564 – 3400 BLK Frawley Street – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop at this location for an expired registration a woman was issued a misdemeanor citation in lieu of arrest for simple possession (alprazolam).

24-007571 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a black Nissan Pathfinder in the 5300 block of Ringgold Road. The driver demonstrated behavior consistent with intoxication and police performed standardized field sobriety testing. The driver was arrested for DUI and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

24-007573 – 5300 BLK Rose Street – Disorder – A caller advised they heard arguing outside. The caller advised the arguing so loud it woke them up. Police contacted the residents and the reported address, and they advised no argument had taken place.
