Police Briefs for June 21

Day Shift June 20

24-007885 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Officers responded to report of female causing a disorder in the business over her vehicle being repossessed. The reporting party stated she threw objects around the office and struck several vehicles with her fist as she left. The reporting party wished to trespass the female. Officers located the female but she refused to give police her information for the trespass. She chose to scream and curse the officers instead. She was eventually taken into custody for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She was also charged with assault on law enforcement after spitting on two officers.

24-007877 – 1300 BLK Adonna Lane – Check Wellbeing – A neighbor requested police check on a party due to her vehicle not being moved in a while and her dogs being left outside. An officer observed the silver Toyota Camry in the driveway and several dogs inside. Police were unable to contact the owner but did not find any signs of distress.

24-007875 – 3600 BLK Glen Oaks Drive – Theft – Police spoke with the complainant who stated he had a letter stolen from his mailbox or the East Ridge Postal Service drop box. The letter contained a check to a business for $21.31 but was washed and changed to an individual’s name for $2,000.31. The victim did make a report with his bank and has been reimbursed for the money that was taken out of his checking account.

Night Shift June 20

24-007018- 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was arrested for outstanding East Ridge warrants after he turned himself in to the East Ridge Police Department. The charges were Felony Evading, Lane Violation, and Reckless Endangerment.

24-007895 – 1400 BLK S. Moore Road – Traffic Stop – During a routine traffic stop the driver was found to have a revoked license. The man also claimed to have ties to the Sureños in California but denied any affiliation in Tennessee or Georgia. A Field Interview was completed, and a citation was issued.

24-007907 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Road – Shots Fired – A resident reported hearing several gunshots in the area. Officers checked the area and surrounding block ranges, but nothing was located.

24-007911 – I-75 Southbound, MM 1.0 – DUI Arrest –Police initiated a traffic stop with a Dodge Charger traveling at a high rate of speed on I-75 SB. The vehicle came to a stop near the Cloud Springs exit in Georgia. Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the location. The driver appeared to be intoxicated. Following standard tests, Catoosa County deputies arrested her and transported her to the Catoosa County Jail. ERPD issued citations for Speeding and Reckless Driving.

24-007915 – 1000 BLK McBrien Road – Suspicious Activity – The homeowner reported hearing noises around her house and her dog was barking. Police checked the area but did not locate anyone.
