Day Shift June 25

24-008128 – 1400 BLK Moore Road – Traffic Stop/Violation of Conditions of Release – A man was taken into custody after it was found he had a valid Conditions of Release keeping him away from a woman who was in the vehicle with him. The suspect was taken into custody and charged accordingly.

24-008117 -18300 I24w – Vehicle Fire – ERPD responded to a report of a fuel tanker on fire on the interstate. All west bound lanes were briefly closed while any potential danger was addressed and mitigated.

Night Shift June 25

24-008139 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road — Suspicious Person – Throughout the night, Police received multiple complaints of a male demonstrating odd behavior at different locations throughout the city. Police identified the individual and spoke with him several times. The management at each location requested he leave the premises but did not want him trespassed. The man was compliant with officers and left each location.

24-008142 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Activity / Arrest – Police observed a man exhibiting strange behavior on the side of the roadway. He stated he was trying to get dressed after being robbed, but officers observed no one else in the area. He also stated he had ingested methamphetamine in the last 24 hours. The party was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.

24-008143 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road — Back Other Agency – Deputies with the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office requested support in locating a stolen gray Kia Soul. East Ridge Police checked several locations in the city but did not locate the vehicle.

24-008148 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle driving 43mph in a 30mph zone. The driver was found to have two active warrants through Hamilton County. She was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
