Police Briefs for Nov. 14

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift November 13

24-014423 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder – Police were dispatched for a female in the emergency room causing a scene. The party told officers she was upset she wasn’t satisfied with the treatment she got for an upset stomach. She was given a courtesy ride to her apartment on Tunnel Blvd in Chattanooga.

24-014429 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police were dispatched for a disorder. The RP stated a female in all black had pulled up next to her and started cussing at her for a political sticker she had on her vehicle. The other party was gone prior to officer’s arrival.

24-014430 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Unconscious Party/Arrest – A man was placed into custody for public intoxication and indecent exposure. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident.

Night Shift November 13

24-014439 – 5400 BLK Oakdale Ave – Suspicious Person – Police responded to Oakdale Avenue after a resident reported two individuals possibly scouting vehicles to break into under the guise of selling internet services. Police identified them as representatives from Olympic Enterprises promoting Verizon.

24-014443 – 1400 BLK St Thomas St – Suspicious Vehicle/Arrest – Police observed a person asleep in a parked vehicle at the hotel. After investigation, the man was arrested for driving without a license, hit-and-run, and lacking financial responsibility, as he had struck a fire hydrant nearby.

24-014448 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – During a traffic stop on a Gray Mitsubishi, police confirmed that the driver had an active warrant from Fort Oglethorpe. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail.

24-014449 – I-75 South Exit 1 – Medical Assistance – Police assisted EMS with a semi-truck driver experiencing seizure-like symptoms. The driver was taken to Erlanger Hospital, and police provided transportation for his co-pilot to the ER.
