Law and Order October 7

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department.

Day Shift October 6 : B Squad

25-010556 – 1400 BLK St Thomas St – Stalker – The caller requested police to speak with him about possibly being stalked. The caller did not have specific information to provide to police at this time to confirm the allegations. Police conducted additional patrol in the parking lot throughout the shift.

25-010561 – 1600 BLK Prater Rd – Unconscious Party – While conducting neighborhood patrol, police observed vehicles parked at the intersection of State Line Rd and Prater Rd where a party was found to have been passed out at the wheel in his work van. The party claimed to be borderline diabetic and was checked out by East Ridge Fire and HCEMS. The party declined further medical assistance, he was cleared by Fire and EMS and left the intersection without any further incident.

25-010567 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – Hamilton County Jail requested ERPD to verify active warrants for a party. The party was confirmed to have active warrants through East Ridge for Forfeiture Capias (Driving Under the Influence).

25-010570 – 1400 BLK St Thomas St – Harassment – The caller at this location requested a phone call for an officer to assist with a harassment complaint. Police contacted the caller and provided instructions on obtaining a protection order from the county clerk to assist in preventing further issues.

Night Shift October 6: D Squad

25-010578 – 1600 BLK S Clayton Avenue – Suspicious Person – A resident reported a suspicious person scowling at her from the yard of a recently abandoned home and was concerned he was squatting. The suspect was gone before the police arrived on the scene. Police interviewed a different resident on the street who identified a vehicle parked behind the abandoned home as the property manager.

25-010582- 100 Interstate 75 NB- Property Damage – Police were called in reference to a vehicle striking a tire in the middle of the interstate. A property damage report was made, and the party was sent on their way.

25-010583 – 3400 BLK Crabtree Drive – Harassment – The caller reported that he received vulgar and threatening text messages. The caller was provided with an incident report and with instructions on how to obtain a Temporary Protective Order through Hamilton County Courts.
