The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on January 16 at approximately 9:30 pm on the 1000 block of Sheridan Ave.

 When officers arrived, they were able to locate a 19 year old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Hamilton County EMS transported the victim to a local hospital.  

CPD’s Homicide Unit responded to lead the investigation and the Crime Scene Unit processed the scene for evidence. All active leads are being followed up on.
