Day Shift May 14: B Squad

26-004426 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – A woman was issued a citation In lieu of arrest for Possession of Schedule VI following a traffic stop for speeding.

26-004430- 6800 BLK Satya Way- Fraud – The caller reported being scammed after an unknown party convinced her to purchase and provide information from Apple gift cards over the phone. She also provided her driver’s license information to the suspect. She contacted bank and Apple regarding the incident. No suspect information is available currently.

26-004435-5600 BLK Ringgold-Disorder with A Weapon – ERPD responded to the listed address on a report of a male subject approaching a tow truck driver, pointing a firearm at him and threating to shoot him. The suspect then fled the scene in a black F150. Witness statements and video footage corroborated the victim’s statement. Police were able to find the vehicle’s registered owner by running the registration. The vehicles owner was positively identified as the suspect, a warrant for aggravated assault will be sought.

26-004438 – 400 BLK Meadowlark Trail – Deceptive Practice – The victim reported being scammed after receiving an online notification from the “Federal Trade Commission” claiming she was hacked. She then called a phone provided to her from the online “source.” The “agent” with the “FTC” allegedly told the complainant they required assistance with capturing suspects involved in an online ring by depositing money into her account. She, in turn, deposited it in a Bitcoin ATM.

26-004440- 4214 Ringgold Road- Warrant Service – A man was served on outstanding East Ridge Capias for Driving on a revoked license while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

Night Shift May 14: D Squad

26-004447 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road – Harassment – A man called 911 to report harassment against his Ex-Father-in-law. He stated that he was on the phone with the suspect, trying to make amends, when the suspect stated he was going to shoot him multiple times. ERPD requested he block the man’s phone number and advised him to get a protection order. He stated he had blocked his number right after the call ended and will go tomorrow to obtain one. He also asked ERPD to follow him home, just in case the man was there. The man stated he had seen the suspect’s white truck at the red light of Camp Jordan Parkway. He alleged the suspect was honking and waving at him. ERPD did not see the truck.

26-004451-1100 BLK Tamarack Trail- Warrant Service – Police went to the listed address and located the wanted subject from an earlier aggravated assault. He was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail.

26-004453 – 4200 BLK Ealy Road – Suspicious Activity – A resident reported a person whistling outside their home and reported it as suspicious. Police drove through the area but did not locate anyone whistling.

26-004456 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Traffic Stop / Arrest – ERPD conducted a traffic stop on a black sedan for making an improper turn onto Camp Jordan Parkway from Ringgold Road. The driver was identified and stated that his license was suspended. ERPD ran his license through dispatch, and it came back revoked for DUI. The man was placed into custody for Driving on Revoked for DUI and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

26-004457 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A woman turned herself in at the Hamilton County Jail, where she was served East Ridge warrants (W894761941) for Domestic Assault (simple) and Child Endangerment (Haley’s Law). Conditions of Release were signed by the defendant and will be delivered to the victim at the first available opportunity.
