Law and Order July 1

Day Shift June 30: B Squad

26-006110- 400 BLK McBrien Road- Suspicious person – Police responded to the above location regarding a suspicious male who visited the business on the previous night at approximately 2130 hours. The male, described as wearing a tan button-up shirt, black shorts, a green hat, black Vans shoes, blue/black gloves, and openly carrying a handgun, asked a female employee personal questions about her work schedule and residence, requested she accompany him to the back of the store, and at one point used her phone to look up a location but texted himself. When leaving he advised he would be back later during the week. He later sent her multiple unsolicited messages until she blocked his number. Staff asked for extra patrols during business hours and identify/contact and trespass the subject if located.

Night Shift June 30: D Squad

26-006111-1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive-MVC W/ Injuries – Police responded to a location following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash. Upon arrival, they found a man who was unconscious. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported for further medical treatment. This case is still under investigation by the traffic unit.

26-006113 – 1500 BLK Waterhouse Street – Assault – A woman attempted to report that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend approximately one week ago. She presented as heavily intoxicated and admitted to being drunk. She was asked to call back when she was sober.

26-006115 – 5700 BLK Roper Street– Domestic Disorder/Arrest – Officers responded to the above address after receiving reports of a female attempting to force entry into an apartment. ERPD observed the woman standing in the exterior doorway attempting to push the door that was blocked by her ex-boyfriend. Officers were able to gain compliance and confirmed she had been trespassed from the property on 06/27/2026. She was arrested for Criminal Trespass and transported to Hamilton County Jail.

26-006119 – 5800 Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/ Warrant Service – Officer observed a vehicle traveling Westbound on Ringgold Road with no lights on. Upon conducting a traffic stop and running the DL through Dispatch, it was discovered that the driver had an outstanding arrest warrant for Aggravated Assault out of Catoosa County. Upon their extradition request, ERPD placed him into custody and transported him to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

26-006122 – 5300 BLK Matthews Drive – Warrant Service/ Fleeing Fugitive – ERPD was notified by an anonymous caller of a fugitive with several narcotic-related warrants and a history of fleeing. Officers parked at the end of the road and walked towards the residence where the suspect was outside. He ran into the residence and fled out of the back, where officers got into a foot chase with him. He was able to make it out of the woods and the area before a perimeter was established. Additional warrants were taken out.

26-006123 – 5300 BLK Matthews Drive – Disorder Prevention – While on scene of a warrant service that resulted in a fleeing fugitive. The owner of a Subaru Outback arrived at the house to pick up her vehicle that she had attempted to get for several weeks. The car key was locked inside the vehicle, which was eventually recovered, and the vehicle was turned back over to the appropriate owner without incident.
