Day Shift September 9: A Squad
26-008694 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Search Warrant/Narcotics Violation – Three people were taken into custody on narcotics and firearm charges following a search warrant service at their residence. The seizure included THC vape cartridges, marijuana, resale amounts of cocaine, Percocet, MDMA, three firearms (one confirmed stolen), several thousand dollars in currency, and drug sales paraphernalia. Officers from the Patrol and Criminal Investigation Divisions assisted in the warrant service.
26-008712 – 1400 BLK Cemetery Road – Traffic Stop / Warrant Service – Police initiated a traffic stop for a registration violation. The driver was found to have an active warrant out of East Ridge for driving while suspended. She was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift September 9: C Squad
26-008716 – 700 BLK South Sanctuary – Suspicious Activity – Officers were dispatched to the above after a concerned citizen called to report a male walking down the road and “flipping cars off.” Officers contacted the individual, who stated he was simply raising his hand, which contained a walking stick, in a waving motion at passersby.
26-008720 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Narcotics Violation – Restaurant management called to report a customer dropped a baggie of cocaine at the bar. On scene, management told officers the man had left approximately thirty minutes prior to dispatch being called. The business provided a photo of a bald male who could not be identified. Officers seized the alleged narcotics for destruction and turned it into the East Ridge property room. The weight of the powdery substance was 4.2 Grams.
26-008725 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – A concerned citizen called in, after claiming to have witnessed male hit a female in the hotel parking lot before walking towards the gas station. Officers searched the hotel parking lot and surrounding streets but found nothing matching the descriptions given.
26-008715 – 900 BLK South Seminole Drive – Vehicle Vandalism – The caller reported his vehicle was vandalized sometime overnight. He provided screen shots of text messages involving a possible suspect; however, no direct evidence currently links the messages to the damage.
