Day Shift September 28: Alpha Team
26-009363 – 4100 BLK Bennett Road – Delayed Assault – Police spoke with a female who advised a man she met on social media struck her in the face multiple times after a disagreement. The female alleged she had minor swelling and redness on the left side of her face.
26-009370 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road – Disorder with a Weapon – Police were called to the apartments for a reported disorder involving a firearm. Upon arrival police spoke with a male who said another man, unknown to him, walked up and asked him if he lived there. The caller admitted he raised his voice in displeasure the man was insinuating he was a thief. The other party reported he felt threatened by the loud words and pulled a gun on the man. After a brief investigation, the suspect was taken into custody for Aggravated Assault and was criminally trespassed from the complex.
26-009364 – 7100 BLK Tanager Court – Disorder – The property manager reported that a man had threatened two maintenance workers on a service call nearby and tore up a recently placed “for rent” sign. Police arrived and found the man had calmed, and the maintenance workers were not on scene. The party alleged that he had been in a verbal disagreement with the two workers and was the owner of the property. The property manager later arrived and alleged the subject had threatened to attack the workers. She further stated that the duplex was rented to the man’s mother. Mom stated that her son had only arrived six days prior. The property manager promised to send a video of the verbal altercation to assist in the investigation.
26-009367 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Auto Burglary – The victim reported that her unlocked GMC pickup had been burglarized overnight. The burglar allegedly took $869 worth of items, including a laptop, computer accessories, glasses, and several books. Camera footage revealed a person wearing dark clothing accessing the vehicle early that morning.
26-009372 – 6500 BLK Slater Road – Theft – The business owner reported that on September 19, maintenance workers discovered four air conditioners had been stolen from the back of the building. The combined estimated value of the air conditioning units is $36,000.
26-009376 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Auto Burglary – The callers reported that their vehicles had been burglarized early in the morning, potentially by the same suspect in case 26-009367. Hotel staff agreed to send further security camera footage of the parking lot, which has yet to be received. A pair of brown Ray-Ban Wayfarers with an estimated value of $200 was taken from the GMC.
Night Shift September 28: Charlie Team
26-009382 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police were notified by a bonding company that they had a party in their custody who had warrants from the City of East Ridge. The suspect had three confirmed Forfeiture capiases with the original charges being Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Vandalism.
26-009383 – 300 BLK Dunlap Avenue – Domestic Assault/Arrest – Officers were dispatched to the above address after a female called in before disconnecting. On scene, officers contacted a female in the parking lot of the apartments who was crying. The female stated her soon to be ex-husband had come to the home to take their daughter for a walk and began cussing at her. Simultaneously, another unknown trouble was called in from Ellis Avenue. Officers learned that this was the male half of the incident from Dunlap Avenue. Officers relocated to Ellis Avenue where they were able to review doorbell camera footage. The video showed that the female party had ran at the male and proceeded to strike him with her body and hands. The female was taken into custody and transported to jail without further incident.
26-009388 – 1500 BLK McDonald Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a grey Audi for displaying a tag that returned to a Chevrolet truck. The driver was found to have a suspended license. Officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and located suspected methamphetamine and suspected fentanyl. The passenger was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of Schedule II with Intent To Distribute, while the driver was arrested for driving on a revoked, suspended, or canceled license.
