City Closing Camp Jordan Parkway

Camp Jordan Parkway, also known as Fred Pruett Parkway, will be closed indefinitely beginning October 12, officials said Tuesday.

According to a City of East Ridge press release, the road, which is the main entrance to Camp Jordan Park on the south, will be closed until further notice due to construction on the road and to prepare for the Christmas Nights of Lights event.

People wanting to access the park will have to enter from the north entrance via Frawley Road and by turning left on Camp Jordan Road. Detour signs will be posted, officials said.
