East Ridge downed Chattanooga Christian 28-13 Friday night at Raymond James Stadium/Shanks Field to cap off a perfect regular season record of 10 and Oh!

The win over the Chargers gave the Pioneers the Region 3/3A title with a record of 5-0.

Leading 14-13 in the middle of the fourth quarter, Moore rushed the ball twice for 30 yards and reached pay dirt for the third time, extending the Pioneer’s cushion. Deondre Chambliss’ 50-plus-yard interception return sealed the win.

Chattanooga Christian’s T.J. Smith scored the Chargers (7-3, 3-2) only touchdown on a 78-yard kick return. Placekicker Will Patton added to field goals.
