November 24, 2015 By Dick Cook 0 Comments

full_579_ 1663 Keeble St.: Police were dispatched to the address on Nov. 19 in reference to a disorder. According to an affidavit of complaint, officers spoke with a woman who said her estranged husband, Michael Alan Lydon, had come by her house a few minutes prior and attempted to take the couple’s child. The woman told officers she came back from a trip to the store and saw a vehicle she thought to be Lydon’s leaving the driveway. A witness spoke with the woman who told her that Lydon attempted to take the child. The witness told officers that she was inside the home with a couple other people and the two children when Lydon entered the home and said “where’s my daughter?” The report states that according to the witness Lydon picked up the child and exited the residence with her. The witness said that Lydon hugged the child and brought her back inside the house, then entered his vehicle and left. The child’s mother, according to the report, told officers that Lydon had assaulted her in the house a couple weeks ago, and that she had a temporary protection order in place, which she showed to police. Warrants were issued for Lydon’s arrest on charged of Aggravated Stalking, Aggravated Burglary and Violation of Ex Parte Order.

In a separate incident on Nov. 20, police were dispatched to the address and the woman told them that Lydon had come to the house, grabbed her by the arm and dragged her out of her vehicle. She told officers she was dialing 911 when Lydon smashed it. The report states that the woman told officers that Lydon then went inside the house to get his daughter. The woman told officers that Lydon had messaged her multiple times via Facebook and repeatedly threatened to kill her and commit suicide.

A few hours later, police stopped a silver Lexus driven by Lydon. He was taken into custody for the domestic assault and other felony warrants. As a result of towing the vehicle, officers took an inventory of the car. A police report states that officers found a black backpack in the rear seat containing a loaded Walther P22 handgun, a box of extra ammunition, a red plastic canister containing 44.9 grams of suspected marijuana and two plastic bags of suspected methamphetamine totaling 5.1 grams.

_ 1636 Keeble St.: Police were dispatched to the address last week in reference to a domestic assault. According to an affidavit of complaint, the caller advised dispatch that there was a man hitting a female in the yard. The report states that officers spoke with the caller who told them that the couple was in the back of the house. Officers went around to the back and saw a man getting on a motorcycle attempting to leave. The report states that police spoke separately with the man and the woman. The victim of the alleged assault told police that she had found out that her husband, Michael Burden, had been talking to another woman on a social media game and confronted Burden about it. Once she had confronted him, he became upset and jumped up and started hitting her in the head. The victim told officers she did not know how many times Burden hit her. The report states that officers checked the side of the victim’s head and there was a knot and bruising. Officers called for medical help and the woman was taken to Parkridge East Hospital for treatment. Burden was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault. He is due in Municipal Court on Nov. 24.
