According to a press release,  officers responded to 3133 Bimini Place at about 6:00 am, Monday, on a shooting. Officers found the victim, Verdis Johnson, a 60 year old man, in his apartment suffering from at least two gunshot wounds, one to the hand and one to the lower abdomen.
