July 13 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

July 10 – Day Shift

21-009798- 4338 Ringgold Road (Food Lion)- Suspicious People-

The caller advised a white male and female were harassing customers in front of the store. Police spoke to the pair. They were advised to move along. Management did not wish to issue a criminal trespass warning.

21-009799- Ringgold Road @ East Ridge Avenue- Suspicious Activity-

The anonymous caller advised of a male forcing a female into an older silver Kia van and leaving the area traveling south on East Ridge Avenue. Police did not locate the vehicle.

21-009804- 3984 Ringgold Road (Stop n Go Pharmacy)- Unconscious Person-

The caller advised of an unconscious male on the property. Police checked the homeless male and found he was just sleeping.

21-009809- Warrant Service-

Ashley Parrott/Owens was served an East Ridge warrant at 405. She was transported to Silverdale.

July 10 – Night Shift

1500 McDonald Road/Warrant Service (21-009848)

During a traffic stop at this location, Aundria Wilkey was arrested on a Parole Violation out of Arkansas.

Summit East Ridge Apt., 3725 Fountain Avenue (Pool/Playground) / Arrest-Public Intoxication:

Franky David Ortiz Gonzalez was arrested for Public Intoxication, six counts of Indecent Exposure (five felonies), and Simple Assault.  21-008939

Nick’s Food Market, 5408 Ringgold Road / Burglary-Business:

A male wearing a blue shirt and pants busted the door window and entered the store.  While inside, the male stole $1,360 in cigarettes.  21-009853

21-009855 6401 Ringgold Road / Traffic Stop / Arrest:

Cathie Koop was arrested for DUI, Open Container, and Driving on Suspended Registration following a traffic stop at this location.

700 Marlboro Ave – Warrant Service – 21-009840 –

Matthew Crosby was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale on an outstanding warrant out of Hamilton County General Sessions.

4011 Ringgold Road – Intoxicated Person – 21-009842 –

Police were called to a reported unconscious person. Police arrived and found the male, Earl Stevens, lying near the dumpster. Police woke Stevens and found him to be intoxicated. Stevens was arrested for public intoxication and transported to Silverdale.

941 Spring Creek Rd – Disorder – 21-009856 –

Police were called to a report of a female refusing to leave Parkridge East. Police contacted the female, Dominique Webber, and she continually refused police instruction to leave the hospital. Webber was arrested for criminal trespassing and transported to Silverdale.

21-009863/ 4214 Ringgold Road/ Warrant Service:

Police served two Forfeiture Capias Warrants: Aggravated Robbery and Public Intoxication on Savanna Hughes.

July 11 – Day Shift

20-003067- Warrant Service-

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office advised they had a subject incarcerated at Silverdale that had an active warrant out of East Ridge. The warrant for Michael Davis was located at ERPD, executed, and faxed to Silverdale.

21-009869- 6714 Ringgold Road (Mapco)- Suspicious Person/Arrest-

The caller advised of a male in a van asleep. Police encountered Darryl Roberson in the driver’s seat and a woman in the passenger seat. While speaking with him he was found to be under a conditions of release barring him from being in contact with the passenger. He was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale.

21-009872- 3657 Ringgold Road (Cascade Motel)- Arrest-

While on patrol police encountered James Cosey at the rear of the motel. He was found to have several warrants out of Hamilton County. The warrants were confirmed for and he was taken into custody. On searching Cosey’s person police located a glass meth pipe in his right jeans pocket that still contained white powder consistent with meth. On searching Cosey’s motel room (he advised there was marijuana in the room but gave consent) police located another glass smoking device containing meth and a small camouflage bag containing packaging material, scales, and items consistent with distribution. Cosey admitted he does sell but only to support his habit. All items submitted into ERPD evidence and will be sent for lab analysis. Cosey was transported to Silverdale and charged accordingly.

July 11 – Night Shift

800 Belvoir Avenue / Arrest:

21-009919 Johnny McCurry was arrested following a traffic stop at this location for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Open Container, Possession of a Firearm During a Dangerous Felony, and Impersonating a Licensed Professional.
