Aug. 20 Police Briefs

Aug. 18 Day Shift

401 S. Howell Avenue (warrant service):

Police conducted a business check at this location after observing a motorcycle abruptly pull in. The driver is an employee who had a verified warrant out of Hamilton County. Jacob Hensley was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. (21-011844)

3300 Gleason Drive (arrest):

Breahn Norwood was arrested for possession of MDMA for resale and a Red Bank warrant following a traffic stop at this location. (21-011853)

Hilldale Drive at Brookwood Drive (warrant service):

Police were called to Ridgeside concerning a male asking for money and getting hostile with area residents. Police made contact with the male at Tunnel Blvd. The male fled from police on foot running toward Germantown Road. After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was caught on Booth Road. The male was identified as Gregory Williams who was arrested on multiple warrants through Sessions. (21-011860)

5319 Oakdale Avenue (theft):

The homeowner’s pit bull puppy was stolen from the fenced backyard this morning. The owner suspects someone from a gutter installation crew but has no proof. (21-011848)

 Night Shift

1000 Bass Pro Drive (Miscellaneous 21-011874)  –

TBI reported an adjudicated mentally incompetent male subject was attempting to purchase a handgun.  He was refused the purchase.  TBI requested notification of the outcome. It was provided to them.

4214 Ringgold Rd(Arrest 21-011872) – 

Michael Usher III was arrested on East Ridge warrants.

603 S Seminole (Shots Fired 21-011879):

Police received numerous complaints of shots fired. Officers arrived and located parties detonating fireworks.

3106 Mason Dr (Shots Fired 21-011889):

Officers heard multiple gunshots in the vicinity. Police made contact with several residents but did not locate anything.

6514 Ringgold Rd (Overdose/Arrest 21-011892):

Police were dispatched to a female overdosing in the parking lot of Mapco. Officers encountered the patient and a male party. The patient was treated at the scene by EMS. She refused transport to a hospital. The male was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and child pornography. He was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale. He was also validated as a gang member of the Aryan Brotherhood.
