Sept. 10 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Sept. 8 Day Shift

21-012975- 6404 Ringgold Road (Burger King)- Disorder-

The caller advised a homeless male in his underwear was refusing to leave the business. On scene police spoke with a clothed Paul S. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way. Later in the shift police received another call on Paul. The caller advised he was dancing in the street. Police checked the area, but he was not located.

21-012977- 3500 block Claremont Avenue-

The complainant called to report a scam phone call. She advised on September 7th around 2:00 pm she received a phone call from an unknown number identifying themselves as law enforcement. She stated they advised her she had multiple warrants out for her arrest, and they were going to arrest her. She provided them with her social security number and date of birth before she realized it was a scam. She was advised to call the social security office as well as her bank. No suspect information.

21-012979- 941 Spring Creek Road (Parkridge East)- Disorder-

Hospital security called to report a large group of people in the hospital refusing to follow the rules. When asked to leave, the group initially refused. Once on scene the group had already dispersed and left the scene.

Night Shift

4100 Ringgold Road / Warrant (21-013013):

Joseph Smiley was taken into custody on a Hamilton County warrant and was transported to the jail.

4222 Ringgold Road / Traffic Stop:

Charles Rackler was taken into custody on a Hamilton County warrant following a traffic stop.

4100 Greenbriar Rd. / Arrest: (21-013008):

Christopher Salgado was taken into custody following a traffic stop at this location. Salgado was charged with possession of marijuana for resale after police located 472.2 grams or 1.14 pounds of marijuana in his possession.

21-013001: 1663 Keeble St- Theft:

The complainant advised that sometime between August 28, 2021, and September 2, 2021  an Xbox One S Series and an RCA home theater projector was taken from her garage. Complainant advised there was no damage or signs of force on any entrance points to the house but did state that her mother and brother had been to her residence.

3725 Fountain Avenue Aggravated Burglary/Vandalism (21-013012):

The complainant stated “J” unlawfully forced his way into her residence and vandalized two glass tables.  No other information concerning “J” is currently available
