Oct. 21 Police Briefs

The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”

Oct. 19 Day Shift

1417 St Thomas Street (disorder):

The residents of a room at the Motel 6 were having a verbal disagreement which spilled out into the parking lot. Officers located both parties who had already separated to allow tensions to cool. (21-015215)

1517 Tombras Avenue (warrant service):

Derrance Freeman was taken into custody during court for a Petition to Revoke warrant. While en route to the jail he became uncooperative and difficult prior to being handed over to jail staff. (21-015231)

Night Shift

3700 Ringgold Rd (Traffic Stop/Arrest 21-015240):

Joseph Ford was found to have Hamilton County Warrants following a traffic stop at this location.

1400 Mack Smith Rd (Traffic stop/Arrest 21-015244):

Shawn McGee arrested for possession of cocaine, simple possession and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at this location.

1417 St. Thomas St (Arrest 21-015254):

Sara Patterson was arrested for domestic assault and false reports after she attacked her boyfriend while staying at the Motel 6.

1517 Tombras Ave (Warrant Service 21-015102):

Bryant Beard was taken into custody at East Ridge City Court on active East Ridge warrants for Domestic Assault and Vandalism.

5700 Ringgold Rd (DUI Arrest 21-015256):

Kelly Stephens was arrested for DUI and Possession of Schedule IV following a traffic stop.

1100 Greens Lake Rd. (Traffic Stop/Arrest 21-015245):

Christy Gann was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale on warrants out of Ft. Oglethorpe during a traffic stop at this location.

Spring Creek Rd / San Hsi Dr (Evading Arrest 21-015253):

Police attempted a traffic stop on a silver Chevrolet sedan with a TN license plate at this location. The vehicle failed to stop and fled westbound on Ringgold Road. Police did not pursue the vehicle per policy. Another officer last saw the vehicle turning southbound on Tombras Avenue.
